Most of the labour groups were demanding payment of arrears, wage of current month and festival allowance before Ramadan 20.
Meanwhile, leaders of the National Garment Workers Federation, at a protest rally in Dhaka today demanded payment of festival allowance equivalent to the basic wage of one month before Eid irrespective of government and private mills and factories.
